Hi,
So this year we're doing something different and we're flying to America on Christmas day. I want to be excited but Im just too anxious about the 13 hour flight! I've never been on a long flight before- the longest I've been on is 4 hours and I hated it because I was on edge the whole time. I think I'm even more nervous this time because of the ISIS and terrorist attacks that have happened lately. It might sound stupid and I know that the chances of a plane crash is so small but it doesn't bring me any comfort. I've also heard that apparently they're bringing police officers on the planes before they take off to see if anybody panics- looks suspicious- which is a good thing obviously but I just know that it will trigger my anxiety so I'm scared they'll take me off the plane. Also, Im nervous about turbulence and feeling claustrophobic so if anyone has survived with anxiety on a plane, I'd really like to know your tips for calming down!
Thanks for reading
Ps I am a 17 year old female
