Underneath The Tongue

So yesterday I felt like I had a little sore underneath my tongue.

Its underneath my tongue on the left side, it seems more swollen compared to the right side.

I don't know if its always been like this, but I am scared its something serious :((

I feel like running to the doctor. Ugh this sucks. I don't know how I am going to sleep tonight :((

I don't know if this is normal.

When I run my tongue underneath the tongue one side seems bigger then the other. Its a lil sore too. :( I am seriously scared.

It's quite common to get a canker sore under the tongue. All you need for that are food particles to get stuck under there. Have you rinsed your mouth out with an alcohol-based mouth wash like Listerine?

No I haven't rinsed my mouth with any mouthwash. I don't use that stuff cause I am breastfeeding I am worried it messes with the milk.

Also the side of my tongue has a sore spot. :( Im really scared

So you're no longer a "Mommy2Be"? :winks: Congrats! It's probably some trauma or a blister/canker sore. If you're that concerned, just see your doctor or dentist.
