Stemetil

Has anyone taken this? I've been described it today for my unbalanced feeling incase it's an inner ear issue but my gp still thinks after another examination that it's anxiety and stress. He's given me 5mg of stemetil to try. I never take new meds I'm terrified. I've not dead the side effects and I won't but I did a quick Google and read a few posts on here that scared me off taking it.

I have it, its absolutely fine, helps with dizziness and any nausea and can even help with anxiety as its technically an antipsychotic called prochlorperazine

I would take it if you don't think your symptoms are purely anxiety and stress. Could you feel any worse?

I would try it, then try to keep busy so you're not thinking too much about how you feel. My mum swears by it for her labyrinthitis. Xx
