Stepped on a pen! Oops!

Hi all. I stood on a pen barefoot and the ink tip went in my foot, obviously not an open wound but can it get infected? Ink poisoning?

I know I'm probably being dramatic!

I would literally bet money on it that nothing will happen to you. How many kids have chewed on a pen and made it explode in their mouth and had nothing happen? Yes I've actually seen them do this lol.

If the ink in the pens is poisonous enough to cause toxic problems then they would be required by law to put a warning label telling people to go to a poison control center if they get any into their bodies.

EDIT: I'm not sure the law is also in the UK, but there's no labels like that on pens over here, so..
