I went to the doctors a few weeks back due to palpitations, Dr said I have ectopic beats was given beta blockers a very low dose also my blood test showed slightly low iron so am on iron tablets ferrous fulmate 3 a day.
I have been on them for 2 weeks and am feeling rubbish- dodgy tummy, pains, cramps, nausea and loose black stools and going more frequently. I also feel more tired and run down then before tho my palpitations have reduced.
I have also lost weight around 5lb in the last month without really trying. I am 29 female and not overweight. I am getting concerned that I have some type of cancer causing the weight loss and symptoms and am so worried. I am off on holiday for 2 weeks tomorrow and am so scared that I can't get checked up or see the Dr. I try and tell myself that it may be the iron tablets but I really don't think it is.
