Last week I found myself going down that dark stairwell of the Internet. Started off in a great mood... Googled melanoma pictures.... Started looking at my moles.... They all magically changed appearance into snarling monsters... Started reading stage 4 melanoma stories... Before I knew it I was dying.... I was depressed, anxious, scared and examining myself non stop. Finally something snapped...I realized two hours earlier I was in a great mood.
For 1 week now I have avoided Google! I've actually forgotten at times about my obsession with skin cancer... I started looking forward to moments again and enjoying life! I hope I can avoid googling for the next 60 years of my life.
