I was told off earlier for having dripping. (its in the pic, top right)

I use it for Roast Potatoes, like Momma used to make!

How do you guys roast your potatoes and roast veg etc? I know dripping isn't exactly healthy, but I haven't found a decent substitute yet.

Goose fat is the best, but not readily available..... so if anyone can suggest a good alternative, I would be very greatful! :)

Ross

I use the fat that naturally comes off the meat to cook the potatoes in. Failing that dry roast ones are just as yummy.

If you want them even nicer then part boil then roll in flour then roast - yum!

 This has turned into UKTV Food (Sky Channel 259)

I just par boil them in salted water, then chuck them in a roasting tin with some Dripping (preferably used several times to get some colour) and Roast them with some sea salt chucked over the top.
