Is tingling/pins and needles a symptom of anxiety?

I've been worrying about a spinal tumour for about a week now, went to the GP yesterday and he said i had mechanical back pain, but he also asked if I had any pins and needles, to which I didn't - however last night and today I've had a tingling sensation come and go from my hands and feet - I read this is a symptom of anxiety, is this true?

I had this in my hands and was vitamin b12 diffident might be worth trying that
