Pink smears of blood

Ok... so this has been one of my big worries for a while. I've thought lve seen blood after passing a stool recently. So l went to the Dr's and they said l had a pile and skin tag so mostly from that. But last night l was constipated and then l saw fairly big streaks of mid pink blood. This seems different to what l had before. Anyone with similar experiences?
Also recently been experiencing a bit of pain in right side of tummy. Not sure if it's muscular or ibs related
