Knee pain whilst sat cross legged

Just wondered if anyone has any knee pain when sat cross legged. Just been sat playing monopoly with the kids on the living room floor and after 20 mins my knees where killing me :/ I'm only 36. Pain went when I straightened them.

I had to giggle at the "only 36" thing... Many years ago, I remember telling a younger friend that when he hit the big 30 that he would wake up, get out of bed and have an ache or pain he didn't have the day before (he was 28 at the time.. I was 35...56 now). So two years pass and sure enough, I get an email admitting just that! ~lol~ Just wait. It gets SO much better!

Lol funny thing is I'm 34 not 36 don't know why I put that :/ maybe its my age haha

I tend to get pain in my knees when my legs are straightened AFTER I have been sitting cross-legged for a while.

Joint pain starting to be an issue for me it seems and I'm only 27.
