need some advice about my medication,

hey guys,
so i've been taking omeprazol for about three weeks now and its really changed my life however,
it got rid of both the burning and my food coming back up but that has recently got worse,
i can however live with it i was just wondering if i should stick with my medication and if my food and fluids coming back up still damages my throat(because the last thing i want is ulcers! lol)

Hiya :) I think you should speak to your GP about it before you decide to stop taking as you don't want to risk making it worse again

I agree with Randara. Speak with your GP. I'm on a PPI (Pantoprazole) and it's really helped. That being said, I still have to watch my diet to prevent breakthrough reflux. Taking the med in addition to diet modifications does quell the nasties.
