does anxiety make you like want answers?
i've found the most annoying symptom of my anxiety is wanting answers,
i got really angry when i found out i couldn't be specifically diagnosed because i have a little bit of them all, and i also can't stop obsessively thinking about stuff, like another big problem i have is a crisis i've had for like 2 years and thats a gender crisis, i know the answer to these things will come in time and doesn't matter but i can't stop wanting answers,
i can't handle surprises or secrets either as i need to know what it is, and i frequently ask myself why i can't like certain things like a normal human instead of liking everything, it seems like it doesn't matter what i do i'll still be unhappy unless the questions can be answered directly,
is this down to my anxiety? or am i just weird

Sam,

Have a read of this:

It's quite long but it answers two of your points about why we keep questioning and why a specific diagnosis doesn't really matter that much. It's an excellent read and is written by Chris who's one of our members. Take a little time out and read it - I promise it's worth it.

I find myself wondering WHY stuff like breathing exercises work, or why anything works for that matter. Or why therapy or coping mechanisms work. A nice answer that I would like to hear obviously is that by doing these things, youre actively forcing your mind not to have a panic attack.
