Hi all

Firstly happy new year to all

I've been bugged by a particular symptom for some time. Ive been a sufferer for a good few years. I've been on a few meds but I stopped around November last year. When I stopped I actually felt better. Strange really but a welcome feeling. Things slowly crept back in after about 3 weeks and things have gotten pretty bad.

My main symptom is a gripping feeling like my chest. Not the traditional tight chest but feels deep inside like it's my heart etc. I get it several times a day and it's very troublesome.

I hope someone can relate

Thanks

Sorry admin. I've posted this in the wrong forum. Please can you move to symptoms.

Thanks

I think this an extremely common symptom. I know when I get really stressed the muscles in my chest seem to tighten up and make my heart feel like it's getting squeezed. Had my heart checked and everything is fine, I'm sure it's the same way for you! Just our anxiety giving us trouble.

I've spent days now "googling" various chest complaints because of a frequent pain I get under my left armpit. needless to say the prognosis by google is not good... am constantly terrified I'm gonna have a heart attack :(

Thanks for your replies. I guess it's back on meds for me.
