Hi folks

I'm just curious, does anyone here *just* take Pregabalin (or 'goblin' as my partner calls it!)? I'm taking it in combination with Citalopram at the moment, but hoping to down-titrate the cit once the Pregabalin takes effect and possibly eventually just take Pregabalin. Would be curious to know if anyone else has done this..

Thanks and have a nice evening

I'd also like to know if anybody has had success with just pregabalin. My husband has read good reports online about how gentle but effective Preg can be and did suggest that if I decided to change ADs rather than go without meds entirely, then this might be a way forward for me.

I've just started pregabalin (last Tuesday) I stopped my citalopram to make way for it. Will keep you posted to how I get on, only on a homeopathic dose of it at the moment 100mg a day, will double it up tonight as its been a week now.

Anxious - may I ask why you are prescribed ? Do you have GAD or a specific anxiety or depression.

Is there a reason why you are swapping Citalopram for Pregabalin ?

I have a severe anxiety disorder that has impacted on most areas of my life for many years. My GP is trying me on this because SSRI'S (antidepressants) have failed to really get a hold of my anxiety.

I really look forward to hearing how things go for you on Preg.
