gap between front teeth ..making me feel physically sick

Hello....I am 40 years of age and over the last 6 months I've developed a gap between my front top teeth and it's getting wider ....I don't know what's causing it or what to do ...its making me feel so worried . I am absolutely terrified of my teeth falling out and I know this is a gradual progression but today I have thought how much bigger it's got. I'm 41 years old do teeth shift and move . ? I seem to spend alot of time reading on the Internet but wanted to come here and see if anyone could help. My left front tooth feels rough too . Along the edge something else new ..

As we get older, the gaps between our teeth do increase a little. I believe its because the enamel wears down after so many years of chomping!

Thankyou for your reply. I have suffered with gum problems in the past and one of my front teeth is longer than the other one .I'm concerned these problems are linked ....it could be an age thing .I'm not sure :wacko:
