Hello fellow anxiety sufferers :hugs:
I haven't posted here for quite a while so I thought I would give you all a quick update.
My best friend recently announced that he was expecting a baby which took me aback considering he is only 24 and has been almost 'child-phobic' for his entire life (We all agreed he would be the last to have a child out of our friendship group, including himself and he actually happens to be the first).
We've known each other since we were 4 years old and he is like a brother to me. Anyway, long story short, he has asked me to be Godfather to his child which would make me a Godfather to 2 children in total. I am extremely excited about this and it has given me a boost in confidence because feeling responsible for others often encourages us and gives us the drive to fight onwards.
In terms of anxiety, I'm still up and down like most of you on here but I've definitely noticed an increase in the good days. All in all, much better, I think. :yesyes:
