Struggling

Been on fluoxetine 9 weeks for anxiety. Had really awful side effects for 6 weeks. My best friends son has died in the last couple of weeks and now I feel worse than ever with anxiety paranoia and slight depression. I am not sure if I should come off the medication

I'm sorry to hear about your loss and the added stress it is causing.

Have you had any good days mixed in with the bad? What dose are you taking? Maybe you need to increase?
