I have a pilonidal abscess which flared a couple of days ago. Started coamoxiclav last night. Abscess has just burst with some blood and some fluid.
Usually when it bursts, it's all fluid.
I'm now in a bit of a panic, hate blood. I know it's probably a good sign that it's burst on its own and won't need surgically draining.
I'm just feeling quite vulnerable at the moment.

Update
Had a bath, always calms me, put a dressing over it and stopped the panic.
I'm never happy, last time I prayed for it to burst and drain so I didn't need an op, this time it's done just that!
