Hi all
So I've been alone all day which has given me lots of opportunity to think things over. Not a great idea when I'm anxious as I over think things. I know part of this is just my mind trying its best to make sense of things and that's normal but it gets in my nerves. Now I'm having a terrible time with all of this crap racing through my mind. It's not intrusive thoughts as such, from what I understand with that they are normally thoughts of harm or sexual thoughts? These aren't that, just like all the what ifs etc running through my mind.

If you are in the house and you can't switch the thoughts off, heres a few things which can work for me when I'm in your situation:

- Get comfortable with duvet and watch either some films or a boxset/series
- Watch any amount of rubbish on YouTube!
- Clean the house, polish, hoover etc - tire yourself out.

Failing all else.

Think about the "what ifs" head on.

Sometimes in reality if the what ifs were to happen, you would be able to manage them (stressful, painful and better off without - yes) but you would work through it. Just like you've done through life up to you.

I'd bet that you are an awful lot stronger than you think you are. We all are.

Worrying about what could happen or what might happen won't make it any more or less likely of occurring.

Try not to drain tomorrows energy today!

Chin up!
