Feeling like people are out to get me

I'm having passive paranoia, I've recently made friends with a bunch of new people and I'm so paranoid that they have an ulterior motive. Like it seems like I've lost touch with reality. Does anyone else get this?

Kind of...I think anxiety can cause paranoia like symptoms.

Yes at times I do, but then I realise that a lot of my new friends start to talk to me first before I start to talk to them so if they weren't interested then they wouldn't do this. Try to relax around your new friends and just enjoy being with them.
