I have health anxiety about ms, long story but GP has said I have anxiety. Awaiting neurology appt to discuss.
Been trying to relax and go for a bath each night and be stress free for bed.
Have had some facial twitches for 2-3 weeks, get approx 1-2 per week, where my right eye twitches enough to move my cheek. Thought this was a side effect of setraline so gp took me off them.
But tonight after my bath I noticed my cheek twitched again, and thinking back every time I have had this it's always either during a bath or shower or shortly afterwards.
I'm sure heat is a ms test and if you twitch after being in heat then it's a early symptom?

Hoping someone can calm me down on here??

I read somewhere that twitches are actually a good thing. It's just muscles. MS has a lot of other symptoms so if all you have is one twitch try not to worry. Maybe it's a pinched nerve at the worst. Don't worry !

I'm trying, but it's hard. It's cause I read someone somewhere said if you twitch after a hot bath then that's a classic ms sign.

You could just be low in potassium too. I have anxiety and my face and head goes numb at times. I've had all sorts of tests including MRIs and they haven't found anything wrong. All it takes is your neck to tense up without you trying due to anxiety and it can cause you facial iasues. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Maybe try and get a massage. That's what I'm going to be doing. :)

I twitch all over. Eyes, lips, arms, legs, feet etc.

Thank you, normally I would be OK about the twitch, but it's cause it happened straight after hot bath. It's totally sent me into meltdown
