Fingernails

I have always had weak fingernail. Can never grow them out becuase they break easily. Only right hand my pink and ring finger the nail beds lift up. Like the white part goes deeper then it should. All my finger tips seem to hurt a little. Esp my right ring finger. I don't wear nail polish or fake nails. Just do daily house stuff. I'm so worried there's an underlying reason my fingernails hurt and are looking like crap lately.

Could it be a thyroid problem?

Is there a picture attached? Do they look normal? They have a darker line under the white part and I read that's a sign of a heart condition

I'm having fingernail worries, too! I can assure you I don't see a dark line on yours, but I know exactly what you're talking about!

Mine have been hurting off an on for a few weeks now, too. (Usually worse when I'm thinking about it.) I'm curious to know if you ever found out what's been going on, if anything.
