Hey again all,

Just to see if any has any advise or experience the following

I have been on 300mg of Pregablin for about 6 months now and its been a life saver. The side effects I can live with as long as the anxiety stays away.I have a lot of stomach and bowel movements with my anxiety and one normally sets of the other sometimes in to panic attacks :weep:.

Recently small parts of the anxiety has been creeping back (mainly in the mornings when I am worse) so the GP increased the dose to 450mg (after a ECG as I am taking 40mg of citalopram as well) and I am on day 7 of the new dose and I feel awful a lot more anxiety. Anyone else experienced this?

Have you thought that SAD (seasonal affective disorder) may be playing a part, with shorter days and less sunlight? If so, things will start to improve as days get longer, but making the most of what sunlight there is or using a light box may help.

As for pregabalin, it does not control all the anxiety, so there are periods of up and down that still need to be dealt with using non-med strategies.

thanks for the reply hanshan,
I did look at SAD but its only started the last few weeks so not sure.

Its worse in the mornings (and the travel to work is difficult everyday)

I was just wondering of the nausea and the extra anxiety could be the course of the pregablin increase, I am on 150mg 3 times a day
