I find carbs leave me feeling lethargic and brain dead. So I eat most of my daily carb intake in the evening. Then on protein, veges and fats through the day I can think clearer and have less slumps.

Add to that some walking outside and a regular sleeping pattern and you may feel a bit clearer headed with more energy.

Low glycemic carbs such as sweet potato, oatmeal, brown rice give consistent energy. It also helps to have greens such as spinach, kale, green beans. For better digestion maybe breaking up 3 meals into possibly 6 per day.

I know this is bad but I love sugar when in feeling fatigued/miserable, a can of Coke goes a long way with me. Also just about anything you eat can boost energy so eating a small meal/snack every 3 hours will help it helps me.
