I'm male, 35, a light smoker and therefore usually a lung cancer worrier.
Went to see my GP last week with a real complaint, and am currently taking Magnapen - an antibiotic. Since taking it I have suffered from nausea. No big deal, only a couple more days on the tablets now.
All last week my tongue was tingling and on Friday I discovered a lump on my tongue, kind of on the top and to the side. It's kind of painful but not too bad. I now have a sore throat, a permanent feeling of a lump in my throat and a kind of pain in my neck (but glands don't seem swollen).
Of course, I am now semi-convinced I have some oral cancer.
You know, I am getting more convinced that I keep smoking to feed my health anxieties...
