Can't breathe properly in dream

Anyone ever had dreams where in the dream they can't breathe properly?
I've experienced this before

Also in day time I feel like I can't catch my breathe I try to yawn to get a deep breath

A lot, most notably when I've a blocked nose or have been taking those nasal sprays. As they wear off your nasal passageways become inflamed and your breathing becomes restricted when you sleep. Consequently I'll only ever use that stuff up one nostril now.

Make sure you're breathing isn't obstructed anyhow. Sleep on your side not your back. Record audio or monitor yourself via an app through the night and try and see/sound what your sleep was like. You might hear restricted airways or notice poor sleep on an app.
