Repost due to me possibly posting in the wrong sub forum
Hey guys,

In the past 3 months i have been sent to ER/A&E twice with a heart rate around 140bpm or more do you guys get this in panic attacks?

I have had a full blood work up both times along with a chest xray and an ECG.
yet i'm still worried constantly. . . i'm 23.

Any advice?

Everything came back normal and when i relax my heart rate goes back to 60ish.

When i stand i notice my heart rate increase also. . . is this normal?

Just need reassurance i suppose . . . :(

Yup! Mine often exceeds 150 during a panic attack. Doesn't feel nice! :( xx

Yes.

My pulse is always high, even without a full-on panic attack. Just nerves and adrenaline creating it. Mine goes up above 150 too, during a panic attack.

Just one of those things.

same here,
when i have a panic attack it goes 160-180bpm
because of the fear there is a masive adrenaline release.
so the heart rate goes high.
its kind of like the same with exercise.

I hit 193 with a panic attack once, 140 is easily done through anxiety. :)

If your heart slows gradually back to normal, like 140, 130, 120, 110, etc. then it's fine. Abnormal arrhythmias are sudden in both starting and stopping. Gradual slowing is healthy.
