Fear of travelling what do to!

Hi everybody!

I have been having a fear of travellling for several years now, after a really bad experience. Over the years my fear got less but I now planned to do an exchange study in a foreign country for 4,5 months! Now this is only a month away and it suddenly struck me. I like my life at home so I don't understand why I would want to leave this all for something I really fear and my intuition says i shouldnt do! Should I be hard on myself and go or stay home and dont push myself to hard but rather cope with my fear bit by bit..? I really dont know what to do! Tips please!
