Propranolol for essential tremors

I realize this is probably just for taking propranolol for panic and anxiety but just thought I'd check if anyone is taking it for essential tremors?? This is a great forum with great information on propranolol. I've been prescribed for tremors and am just looking for as much information as I can find. I found out more in this forum than in any other forum so far. So thanks and hopefully someone will be taking it for essential tremor.

Hello KayBee, My husband takes propranolol for tremor he has with his hands.
He has had this problem for years. I don't know if it is called essential.
It does not stop him from doing anything. he just gets on with it so to speak.
I have been asked many times by people if he has Parkinson's disease.
But he has not. The only thing is the tremors are worse if he gets nervous about things or anxious.
