still panicking about swollen lymph nodes in groin felt neck one

Now can feel one like a small hard tender pea on side of neck where tonsil is bigger and always hurts to swallow. Tried to ignore thisi for ages. not sure if it sees worse because i set off worrying about the groin!

If you have a swollen node on the same side as a tonsil and it hurts to swallow, you're most probably suffering from a viral infection of the throat. Why don't you see your doctor about it?

I agree with Gary about it being a viral infection. I remember having some type of viral throat virus and my lymph nodes under my neck were enlarged and it hurt to swallow. They just told me to take pain relievers and ride it out. That's just my personal experience though. Going to see a doc may not be a bad idea & they will be able to tell pretty quick what it is.
