I woke up at 5am and moved my head on the pillow and as my nose moved slightly I got agonising pain in my nose and when I touched the spot it was very painful. Its on the right side of my nose just where the bone edge is.
No one had bashed me in the face in the night and I did not have my face squashed in the pillow so no idea why.
The ache is going up around eye and down into cheek but the painful to touch area of nose is not red or swollen at all - looks perfectly normal.
About 10 years ago I did damage my nose when small child suddenly grabbed it and yanked it to one side and this is in almost same place and the pain level is similar but i have not injured my nose at all this time.
Of course my HA brain has so far got a galloping infection in my nose bone or cartlidge although my husband said he was sure it would be red and swollen if there was any infection in the nose as the flesh is so thin there.
Anyone any ideas?
