Can you split the pills?!

I've been given 50mg to start on but I think this is too high and the side effects possibly too unpleasant?

The Internet (I know, I know!) seems to say 12.5 or maybe 25 to begin with for anxiety sufferers?

you can split the pill in half and start on 25mg but starting on 50mg was where I started and everytime you go up you prolong the start up effects, so its best to just bite the bullet lol

Yes you can split the pills. Some people have worse side effects than others. If you can tolerate the lower dose better then go for it.

My doctor instructed me to split them at first.

I was prescribed 100 mg but he wants me to cut them in half and take only 50 mg per day for the first three weeks, then go to the full dose.
