Anyone else have this sensation, more of a feeling than a symptom? It's a sense that you're removed from the world, sort of locked inside yourself, a bit as if everything that's going on is somehow happening on a screen, like in a movie, and that you'll never be able to climb up into the screen and join in. It can be pretty frightening when you become aware of it because it seems as if you'll be imprisoned in yourself forever. Physically it manifests itself as a kind of heaviness behind the eyes, like a permanent head cold. The fact that I'm living on my own at the moment doesn't help, because it is like a perpetual aloneness. I guess it is related to some sort of depression. Also it makes you terribly aware of your own body and all its aches and pains, so related to health anxiety. 🤔
