So over the past few days I've been very sick with the flu/bronchitis that has been making its way around America. I've suffered with GERD for over a year now and this wouldn't be the first time that I have vomited rust/brown colored blood.(One time I was so sick with acid breakthrough that I couldn't eat for around 2 weeks because I was off my P.P.I's for about a week. That time I vomited it rather frequently in the later days and my doctor told me not to worry unless I was vomiting bright red blood. And another time that I was vomiting it very little while weaning myself off of my P.P.I's) This time feels different though because it feels like there's a lot more but I know that's not true. I guess what I'm asking is has anyone else experienced this with G.E.R.D?
Is this a normal thing that happens if you try to quit P.P.I's and the like. I'm starting to get a little scared and if anyone else has had this it'd be a big load off of my mind.
