Back pain again

My back has been sore for 7 weeks now
Scared it won't get better
Feels like I've got sharp things sticking in me
Got GP appointment next Tuesday
Also got hip and knee pain

I've got back pain also have done for 4,5 years does yours hurt to touch your back ? Do u have sore spots

No I don't have sore spots, just the feeling of something sharp sticking in my back.

that's how mine started, if I bent back or to my left I felt a quick stab in my spine, then it developed into a dull backache. I think I made it the dull backache myself though by droping down on to one knee and im sorry to say I have been this way for 3 months now. ive had few days where its been minimal to non existant and only a couple of days where its felt quite painful but the pains in my bum and thighs are the most aggravating of the two. does your back pop crack or grind often? I think that was the beginning of all of it, mine sounds like some ones muching a bag of pork scratchings some time haha. and I can pop my right hip on demand just with a slight twis of my leg :ohmy:

nope, got told not to worry about all the noises!! no explanation because I don't have pain while it happens. doctor seems to think its muscular as walking eases it, but I hate bed time I get all stiff, feel like I have to move my feet and legs all the time and can only get truly comfortable if I cock my leg over my fella :blush:

Did they give you any indication how long it would last for.
Have GP appointment next week. Did they give you an X-ray.

no they didn't I had seen the nurse 4 weeks before I saw the doctor, nurse said sciatica and doctor says muscle. felt like a total waste of my time, I don't know if muscular pain in the back can last this long! well actually I thought I had cervical cancer I bled after a smear test off and on for a month and just thought well here we go the backache is a symptom and that's really why I went to the doctors and made a fool of myself since my results were clear :doh: I do think I need an xray but my doctors don't seem to interested. I hope you manage to get one and its nothing more than a pulled muscle and you don't end up like me!

No it just came on gradually
