how do you get real chat

if i cant get real chat i cant get in chat :(

You need Java for that.

nic yes i mean into chat here i have got java already and it dont work when i try to get into chat and i read ross's tech notes and got my daz to read them cus hes very technical and he cant to seem to get it to work either or java plug in how you get that i dont understand why i cant get in to chatroom on this website anymore since changing over

Have you enabled java in the IE options?

You could try clearing cookies in case it has something left over from the previous site.

Have you tried using a different browser such as Mozilla Firefox? No idea if this would work but it might be worth a try.

That's a bummer bell. You probably have already tried disabling any firewalls and popup blockers you have but if not give that a go.

Hey Foxy Bell, Well unfortuantly i can't get there either! I have to use the public library or my Family computer. This computer isn't updated enough! Maybe ur's is the same?! -X-

Can you all tell me what error you get when you try to go in???

Is it a java error?

Can you screen dump it and send it to me via mail.

To do this try to login to chat then press the "Prtsc" key on your PC.

Open something like Word and paste it in with "Ctrl v". Mail me the document to nomorepanic@btinternet.com

You shouldn't need to download Real chat atall. That is the software that you run on the server to host the chat room.

If you download a copy then you are effectively setting up your own chat room!

If you go into Tools, Internet Options and then Security - what level of security do you have?

If I set mine to High then I can't get in chat.

Try setting it to Medium-High and that should fix it.
