Doctor Reassurance

Hi guys,
Was just wondering if anyone else has moments like I am having now.

With the help of citalopram and my doctor I am coming out of a really bad month where HA got the better of me big time.

I was on two weekly appointments with the doctor. 48 hours before my last appointment I discovered a lump about the size often elongated pea in my inner thigh. Just in the crease where the leg meets pelvis.

I obviously had him check this to which he glanced at it a few times and gave it a quick pinch and said it was a cyst and to keep taking the medication and to make my next appointment for a month.

The trouble I have now is I am still worrying about the lump and feel like a non believer but this doctor has been great helping me overcome my HA.

Doctors are highly trained in telling the difference between a suspicious lump and something not of concern. If there were any doubt at all you'd have been referred to a specialist.

I know how you feel all my anxiety is over a lump but we need to try and trust gp
