Windburn or lupus? I don't have any other symptom apart from an occasional red/dry nose. It is probaly weather related and appears after ive been outside and isn't there when I wake up.

Believe me you would have other serious symptoms if you had lupus, I have a friend with it.
Plus the rash does not come and go.

Sounds like you have sensitive skin to the wind.

I guess I sort of knew that but the nose rash is still here. I do get dry skin in the cold and wind and it does come and go. Speedy recovery to your friend.
