cramps before your period?

hi
ive been getting this crampy tummy ache for a day or two now and because my cycle is anything from 24 to 33 days ist not that easy to pin down when im going to come on my period.

so this made me wonder how long before your period do you get tummy cramps and you know its on its way?
i was ready somewhere that some people can get them as early as a week before

I get them a week before and get all bloated. And that's when I know my period it's on its way!

I am on the pill now and I have cramps and that feeling that I could take my period at any second almost daily but when I was experiencing natural periods before the pill, I experienced cramps from minor to major as soon as I started ovulating and then to when I started bleeding and then when the bleeding lessened. Cramps nearly all the time tbh lol.

In my cycle I cramp the week before, the week during my period then nothing for a week or so and then cramp again when ovulating.
I've noticed this has gotten worse as I have gotten older xx
