do you get cramps before your period?

hi

ive been getting this crampy tummy ache for a day or two now and because my cycle is anything from 24 to 33 days ist not that easy to pin down when im going to come on my period.

so this made me wonder how long before your period do you get tummy cramps and you know its on its way?
i was ready somewhere that some people can get them as early as a week before
i did post in symptoms but wondered if i would get more response here

Yes, I will get cramps and dull backache from 3 days up to a week before.

Me too. I can get cramps several days and also a week before. It's pretty common.
