Hi everyone, it's my first post.
I'm a 38 year old male.
I am really struggling at the moment! I have phyiscal symptoms but I know that the stress of worring is making it worse.
I had a ultrasound done in December on my kidneys/abdomen..for groin pain.
It was normal except for a slightly enlarged spleen 13cm.
Since reading that I have.... Aches in ribs, legs, arms. Off my food ( I can eat large meals) dry mouth (inflamed throat) and what I think are a couple of new red dots on my arms.
I am constantly checking myself for new signs and symptoms.
It's driving me and my wife, family mad.
I have had a full spine mri, testicle and stomach ultrasound, and a full blood count done recently. All NORMAL.
Can this really be all in my mind?
I am really scared of lymphoma/leukemia!
My gp says I have been fully investigated and I'm ok. Why don't I feel ok?

He has put me on 50mg Prozac....I still feel something has been missed!
Thanks for reading...KFH

If you had either lymphoma or leukemia then you certainly wouldn't have had normal blood work.

You are simply honing in on these symptoms and that will ALWAYS make them worse. It's a basic rule that if you go looking, you will find. When you find, you focus on it, making it worse. Also, if you read about the symptoms of a particular disease, I can bet my life savings you'll notice some or all of these symptoms.

It's amazing how much your body reacts to what's going on in your head, it really is. You must persue a route to treating your anxiety. This is the real issue.

You’ve actually gone through different tests so you’re perfectly fine. Those anxiety symptoms isn't “just all in my mind” , those are true physical symptoms brought up by Health Anxiety.
