Everyone says its normal but I'm not convinced. My balance is fine I can stand on one leg for minutes.

Normal - people in the army notice this, when standing in line beside each other :)

If I try the test when I'm anxious i find I sway a lot more. If I calm self down during the swaying will calm also. What gives?

There have been a couple of threads about similar things recently. Head and hands I believe.

We are living beings. Our hearts beat and send blood coursing through our bodies. Our chests rise and fall with every breath. Our eyes move, our eardrums move to every sound (even while we sleep!). We cannot under any circumstances be totally still (unless we're dead). Your anxiety is making you hyper-aware and also making you imagine it's worse than normal... and it is totally normal.

Thanks, anxiety definitely makes us hypersensitive. So much so. I could run a marathon (badly, and be out breath) but I could do it. I'm just finding things to worry about accidental on purpose. I don't want to be this way.
