Hi everyone

So I'm about to see an ENT for a very tender gland under my jaw and in front of my ear on the right side only. My GP doesn't seem alarmed (she thinks it's Eustachian tube dysfunction from allergies) but it's been swollen now for 2.5 months. It first started with some nasty ear pain but she couldn't see an infection. She gave me antibiotics anyway but they didn't help. The ear pain is only intermittent so now I'm starting to worry about lymphoma and other cancers causing it instead. I've been reading too much Dr Google. My baby is only 10 months old and she still needs me :( Has anyone experienced this?

Lymphoma does not typically start below the jaw, but rather lower in the neck, in the armpits or groin and is usually symmetrical and not tender to touch.

Anyway, the ENT will probably find the cause easier and more reliably than you alone or anyone here, right?
