This is my first post so bare with me...
I leave in a few weeks for a trip with my school, we're going to a whole other continent for 2+ weeks, the longest I have ever been away from home was a week with my bestfriend this past summer, I'm only 15. I'm really nervous about my trip and I know I shouldn't be but I am...I'm so worried that I won't even get on the bus and will wasted my parents money and missed the chance of a life time. I have anxiety and I always have but this is a new level of anxiety, I just keep thinking about everything that could go wrong..

someone reassure me please and help me with this.
thank you

It will be all good, your teachers will be there to make sure nothing goes wrong, and if it does, they will deal with it. All your friends will be feeling similarly nervous, it is a big thing to do, but I'd almost guarantee, by the time the bus is driving out your school, you'll all be excited and ready for a good time. Talk to your parents and explain your fears if you can, it doesn't help to bottle it all up

Hi

I felt the same on my first school trip and guess what once I was there I had a fab time, it is natural to worry about the unknown but don't let it get you down, concentate on the new experiences you will have.
