Today I had my appointment/physical with my new primary care doctor. I LOVED her. She put me at ease at the appointment and for ONCE, my bp in the office was totally normal. It's usually sky high at the doctor's office.

I had bloodwork done in the office---they are doing a cbc, liver enzyme, cholesterol check, various vitamin levels, checking for hepatitis immunity levels, thyroid check, etc.

I'm worried about the cbc since my WBC's were over 10k last year, and in the previous years they were 6 or 7. My new doc said if I had been seeing her last year, she probably would have had them rechecked (which makes me worry that some kind of cancer has been growing!!!).

I'm worried about my liver enzymes because I had trouble with my liver 4 years ago. Hoping they are ok.

I'm worried about my cholesterol because I've taken lousy care of myself over the past year and my weight is really high.

I'm worried they will find some random disease that I haven't considered.

I should know about most of them by tomorrow. Asking for good thoughts if you have any extra?

Whatever they are you will deal with it. Its just as likely they will be all within normal range than them not. Things like raised cholesterol can be managed by lifestyle changes so are not overly serious.

And very soon you will know so no more waiting!

Hi there, also 'no news' is good news so if you don't hear anything for 24 hours then all will be well. Serious 'stuff' gets reported to your Dr within hours, especially with online services.

Take care,
Lesley
