Can I catch worms from my cat? I touched it!

I had a bloody worm on my hand (the rice sized ones) and I flicked it off and I'm 90% sure I didn't touch face. I flicked it off then clicked it MAAY BLOODY WELL BE A WORM. Washed hands twice.

One kitty had them and got him de wormed so sure this one may do too.

I'm terrified!

I believe you can only catch animal worms if you accidentally eat an egg which is in their poo or if you accidentally ate vegetation which they had pooed in with the eggs present...so you will be fine x
