Breast pain

I've had breast pain on and off for nearly a year.
Been to Drs three times , checked breasts no lumps or skin changes.
Dr said it is costocondritis not spelt right.
Now worried its cancer and it's been left a year.
It's so painful
Please help

I can't help you here I am a guy lol. But I don't think pain automatically means cancer.

pb... what can anyone here say that's more reassuring than your doctor? Costochondritis is real and can be painful but it's not sinister and can be treated with physical therapy and pain meds if needed.
