First of i want to appologize for a long paragraph but i need to let this out

Okay so il start this off with how it all started, first off im 20 years old have no stress i have a beautiful girlfriend of ovwr a year now and our relarionship is literally better then i can ask for and under going no stress at all but okay well on January 6th i had back surgery, i had a microdiscectomy on my L4-L5 was a little bit nervous about going under anesthesia for the first time from bad story's i have hurd, i had my surgery with no complications, about a month and a bit later it was my uncle birthday party and i drank pretty excessively and woke up the next day feeling very hungover (light headed, nervous, faint, weak) the usual feeling after a really hard night of drinking, so i thought okay im just hungover but now over a month later im still feeling light headed everyday of my life has some confusion, forgetful, trouble consentrating, spaced out, dizzy spells, weakness in both arms, allways tired(even after 7 to 9 hours of sleep) sensative to half loud noise, and has been cause my to have 'panic attacks' just had and MRI done came out clear hand blood work everything was near perfect, and a ECG of my heart witch came out completely fine im just so confused now cause i saw a "internal medicine specialist" after all my tests came back clear and he said he has no idea what could be causing it, so im just wondering has anyone with anxiety ever experienced this im just really confused and it troubles me with my everyday tasks :(

I just want to know if this is anxiety so i can stop worrying...

If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

Hi Josh - definitely sounds like classic anxiety symptoms to me - there are literally hundreds of symptoms of anxiety - pounding heart, palps, sweating, tightness of chest, pins and needles, fatigue, numbness, dizziness, forgetfulness and panic attacks - and there are plenty more too - check out the symptoms threads on here - :hugs:

Hi Josh, it could also be left over from your op', sometimes these things can take time to recover from and i'm assuming it wasn't an easy op', so it could be a bit of lingering trauma with the nervous system, which a heavy drinking session 4 weeks after may have aggravated. Your anxiety about it since then obviously adds to that...never underestimate the power of health anx!

But as always, we recommend that you ask a medically trained person for an opinion too.
