Small hard lump on scalp?

Hi all
Over the past few months I've had this small hard lump/bump on my scalp, above my ear. I've started paying more attention to it recently and its set off my anxiety! I can move the lump a bit with my finger/nail. Is this anything to worry about? Should I be making a trip to the doctors?

My mum had something similar and it was a cyst, it might be worth going to the doctor as they can be removed. It's probably nothing to worry about x

Hi Louise, thank you for replying. Did your mum get hers removed? Whats the procedure like?

she's still waiting for it, I think they just have to remove some of the hair in the area. But you do have lumps and bumps in your head sometimes, visit your doctor and see what they say, I highly doubt it's anything major.
