I suffer from generalised anxiety disorder and have a massive array of symptoms. I fairly common one is pins and needles but I get this rarely. I had pins and needles in my hand a few days ago and (foolishly) googled it and since seeing it's a symptom of HIV or MS the symptom has been with me daily. Has anyone else had symptoms come on stronger since googling them?

Not necessarily googling but when my dad was diagnosed with cancer I was certain I was experiencing the same physical symptoms.

In hindsight, it's ridiculous. But at the time I was petrified.
